Supplier default conditions

Each supplier has default supplier supply conditions such as discounts, return policy, delivery lead-times etc. When a new item is added to the items supplied by a supplier a new item supply conditions record is created for the item. The new item supply conditions record automatically inherits the default supplier supply conditions. After this the Item Supply Conditions for any item can be modified as needed.

For example a supplier may give a standard 40% discount on most items but 50% on specific items. The item supply conditions will automatically inherit 40% as the discount. This can be chnaged manually to any other value if needed.

Also the returns conditions may vary from the suppliers default for specific items. In such cases change the supply conditions for the item as needed. The default conditions for the supplier should be updated when variations come to hand.

Note: Changes to the default supplier supply conditions do not propagate to existing item supply conditions.
