Before configuring in Bookmine it best to install the Bibliographic database as per the installation instructions that come with it and ensure that is accessible using the standard user interface provided with it.

To activate bibliographic database access in Bookmine go to Main Switchboard – User Options – Bibliographic Databases and select from the databases supported. You may have to click the reload button.

Bookdata (BD) is accessible across a local area network. This may require a multi user license from the providers of the bibliographic database. Accessing the bibilographic data over the local area network will  InfoMining to configure it for you.

Once installed check that you can access the data using the standard user interface that is provided with each. Once you establish this you can set up Bookmine so that it accesses the data directly, enabling you to import records as required.
