InfoMine can be configured to run on more than one workstation, all viewing and manipulating the same data tables. If you have more than one computer in your organisation you may wish to purchase the multiuser version which allows you to install the program on as many networked computers as you wish, all accessing central data files on a designated server.

System performance will be a function of, in descending order of importance, the following factors

1. the speed of your LAN (Local Area Network)

2. the amount of RAM in your workstation

3. the amount of RAM memory on the Server (the machine where the data is stored)

4. the number of users attempting to simultaneously access the tables on the server.

5. the number and nature of other networked based operations users are carrying out

Up to 20 workstations can operate on the same data without too much reduction in performance but this has to be assessed, with respect to the above criteria, for any given situation. If performance is reduced below a tolerable level you should think about updating your computers, especially the amount of RAM and the speed of the Server.
