There are 2 ways to open the Point of Sale interface in Bookmine.
From a desktop shortcut. Double click on the POS icon for Bookmine. This will load the program in POS mode. A user verification box will appear on the screen. Select the user and enter the appropriate password and press enter. The POS interface will now open. To setup a desktop icon to open Bookmine in POS mode copy an existing icon that you use to open Bookmine in standards mode and add “ /CMD POS “ to the end of the target line
Opening the Point of Sale area of the program from within the main program itself. To do this, enter the Transaction Summaries interface and click the button marked Open POS. You will be prompted for operator verification. Select an operator name and enter the appropriate password and press enter. The POS interface will now open. Can also be opened from the Main Switchboard.
