Printing barcode labels on a laser printer
Previous Topic  Next Topic

Barcode labels can be printed on any standard laser printer. They are typically printed in batch mode, a full page at a time.

BEWARE: Laser printer labels sheets should never be put through a printer a second time because of the possibility of damaging your printer. Dog-eared labels can stick to the fuser. Typically this is cheaper to fix by buying a new printer than having the fuser repaired. Always ensure that only mint sheets of labels are used.

Barcode labels can be queued to be printed using the barcode label interface.

Queing labels as goods are received.

Labels can be queued for printing as they are received from suppliers in response to purchase orders. At any time you can print a sheet. The inteface informs you how many sheets are required and how populated the last sheet will be. To save labels only print when you are close to filling a sheet.
