Once Bookmine is configured for Bookscan you are ready to send regular sales updates.

Bookscan will let you know the requirements regarding updates, i.e. their frequency and timing. Typically they are sent every Monday before noon and include sales from the previous Mon to Sun.

To send an update go to the Output screen and Click the Bookscan tab. The update interface is displayed. The default options for sending weekly data are already ticked. If you wish to send the sales for the previous week just click on the “Send upload to Bookscan…” button. Bookmine will gather the required information and send it via ftp.

A confirmation message will appear if all is ok. If for any reason a connection could not be made (the Internet is down or the ftp server is not responding) a status message will appear informing you of the problem. Try again later whan a connection can be made.

If for any reason you wish to send sales data for any other period you can select the date range and send it as described above. Bookscan may ask you to resend an update as it was missed for some reason.

Bookmine records and displays the date of the last successful update.
