Bookmine can manage your customers rewards programs, automatically allocating points to members as sales are processed. When sales reach a designated threshold the customer is awarded a credit which can be collected on their next purchase. The credit is computed from the threshold you set and the value you have assigned for the award. The reward is a percentage of the threshold.
For example, if the threshold is 200 points, earned at 1 point per dollar spent, and the reward is 10%; when a customer makes a purchase that results in their un-rewarded points crossing the threshold a credit is raised for $20.00. In addition their un-rewarded points are reduced by 200 and a message is displayed to inform them of the credit, available on their next purchase.
If a sale has been cancelled or items returned the points are reduced accordingly.
Note: This can cause the un-rewarded points to be negative if a customer that has been awarded a credit and subsequently returns an item. In this case they have to buy more to get to their next reward point.
