Special Orders from the POS interface


Recording special orders for customers at the POS interface is an integrated part of carrying out general customer maintenance functions. From the POS Summary screen press F12 (or Contact Lookup) or from the POS Details screen press F12 (Contacts).


Do a search for the customer the order is to be placed against. If no record already exists you can optionally create a new record for them.


Once a contact is selected or created the customer maintenance screen is displayed. From here click the Customer Request/Special Orders button. The screen displayed enables you to add and delete special orders or requests for the customer.

Special Orders/Requests are also visible from the Mail Order interface and vice versa.
